Detail: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, various pharmaceutical products have been assigned a serialization deadline of the end of June 2020. All importers and distributors must begin tracking their import and sales activities in the MediTrack system, according to a notice published in April 2021. According to a recently published directive, it has been determined to apply datamatrix codes to all pharmaceuticals manufactured in Lebanon beginning January 1, 2023. The GS1 criteria for traceability activities are implemented in Lebanon.
