Aseptic Carton Serialization Station
Companies prefer aseptic cartons as packaging material for food safety and durability. Aseptic cartons, which consist of many layers and are generally used for the packaging of liquid products, are becoming more and more important every day, especially in traceability projects of food products. ACSS-100 Aseptic Carton Serialization Station is a functional solution offered by VISIOTT TPS for traceability systems.
Aseptic cartons, which can be designed in many different shapes and sizes, are packages that are not easy for serialization. The curved body, cap application, wet surface, and pipettes are important points that need to be carefully examined in the design of the serialization project. Therefore, printing technologies compatible with production speed and printing surface should be used in serialization projects. The serialization and aggregation system offered by VISIOTT TPS for aseptic cartons supports TIJ, CIJ, and Laser technologies.
VISIOTT TPS Aseptic Carton Serialization Station passes aseptic cartons through the drying unit before serialization to eliminate the possibility of moistening during production. The drying process is carried out by gently blowing dry air on the product in a way that does not allow a moist surface to remain. Using the printing technologies chosen following the operational requirements, data matrix and human-readable information are printed on the aseptic cartons, which are freed from moisture. Serialized products are verified using OCR/OCV technology. Products whose 2D code cannot be verified are removed from the line by a reciprocating rejection mechanism.
As an option, invisible helper code can be printed on the top or base of the carton. If invisible code printing is preferred, the station matches the helper code with the 2D code. In cases where matching does not occur, the rejection mechanism with a piston activates, removing the product from the line.
VISIOTT designs Aseptic Carton Serialization Station with a durable transparent protection cabinet, taking priority over the worker and operational safety. VISIOTT Aseptic Carton Serialization Station stops the operation for safety if the enclosure area doors or panel doors are opened.
ACSS-100 Aseptic Carton Serialization Station is controlled by the VISIOTT Line Manager (Level 2) software designed and developed by VISIOTT. You can carry out your work order and product prescription operations following the product traceability requirements (DSCSA, EU-FMD, FDA, Chestny Znak, etc.) in various industries with this software, which is fully integrated with VISIOTT Plant Manager (Level 3).
