The station provides stabilization of the products on the line thanks to the gripper conveyor in the first stage. Then, the sensors perform the control of Tuck Flaps and Closure Panels. The problematic products (open or defected packaging) are separated from the line with the reject mechanism.

Precise weight measurement is performed in the second part with the accurate packages that accomplished to pass the first Tuck Flap & Closure Panel control. The high precision (0.1 g) load cell weighs and guarantees the standard weight of the products and the completeness of the packaging components. Products that are out of the standard are separated from the line with the second reject mechanism and sent to another reject area.

In the third stage, DataMatrix and human-readable data are applied. After the application, this information is controlled via OCR/OCV technology. If and when there is a package with an incorrect code, it is eliminated from the line with a separate reject mechanism.
