Details: Marking of the pharmaceuticals with a DataMatrix as from 1 January 2019. Any specialty, from 1 January 2019, must be marked with a Data Matrix on its secondary packaging. The GTIN is not compulsory, but most pharmaceutical products are bar-coded with EAN-13. Currently no one is using the datamatrix.
